Did you Get That in

Writing?

Not so many years ago a handshake agreement would be your word and you’d hold true to it.  In today’s world a handshake agreement is not enough. When dealing with multiple wedding professionals for your ceremony/event, you must get it in writing.  Before you sign the contract, always request to have ALL the services, promises, perks, extras, et al clearly stated and delineated out.

Be sure to review with the vendor what is expected from them per the contract.  You have the right to ask for a copy of said contract to review prior to signing.  Ask questions!!  Should there be any changes in the work to be done by the vendor, an amendment to the original contract should be drawn and signed by all parties.  This will protect both you and the vendor.

Remember, the words “You told me you would……” do not hold up in court.  Protect your investment!!
